Small Batch Biscuits

Small Batch Biscuits

Sometimes you want a biscuit recipe that makes just a couple biscuits and comes together quickly. Here it is!

3/4 cup White Lily Self-Rising Flour, plus a little more
1/2 cup heavy cream, plus more for tops

Preheat oven to 475F. Grease a small cast iron skillet. Combine self rising flour and heavy cream and work the dough until it's combined in a smooth ball. Divide dough in half then in half again. Roll into balls and pat down with the backs of your fingers. Add to skillet. Brush tops with heavy cream, if desired (I find the amount covering the sides of the measuring cup is perfect). Bake 13-14 minutes or until golden brown.
