Here's an easy way to improve boxed yellow cake mix in our square tube pan!
2 boxes (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
8 eggs
2 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 lb sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare Old Country Kitchenware square tube pan by fitting a parchment paper square between the two pieces and brushing with pan coat. With an electric mixer, beat together all ingredients until smooth. Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean. Let the cake cool until the pan is cool enough to handle. To unmold, place it over a metal can and push down to remove the outer piece. Once the tube is cool enough to touch for 4 seconds, lift or turn the cake out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Top with powdered sugar, if desired.

Ileana, I can’t be sure as I haven’t tried it! I’d start checking with a toothpick or wood skewer around the 50 minute mark
If I cut the recipe in half, how long is the baking time? Thank you
It’s so pretty and very easy to do. Thank you. 😋
